Really love the look of these! They’re my weekend project this weekend! 😁
@criticalhitwargaming5290 Жыл бұрын
Awesome! It's a seriously quick scheme, if you're painting 5-6 hours over the weekend you could genuinely get an entire army of them done. By the time you've finished with Coelia Greenshade on the last few, the first ones are dry and you can get cracking on the drybrushing.

@@criticalhitwargaming5290 you’re so right! I managed to get all 20 plastic miniatures done yesterday and want to get the bases done today if the Mrs gives me time 😂

Great tutorial mate, could you maybe do some Ossiarch Bonereaper tutorials?
@criticalhitwargaming52902 жыл бұрын
I would do but I unfortunately don't have any! If you happen to, send me a message at Facebook.com/criticalhitwargaming and we can arrange you sending one across - I'll paint it as a tutorial and send it back to you. The models from this video were painted the same way!

hi, would you use this method with nighthaunts too? would you change something? I am eternally looking for a method that satisfies me ...
@criticalhitwargaming52902 жыл бұрын
You could use this on Nighthaunt, but I have a better method for that. I'll do a video ASAP.

Just wanted to clarify; in the video you use Screaming Skull for the dry brush, however at the end of the video you say you utilised Zandri Dust. Which paint did you use for the end look? Great job with the models!
@criticalhitwargaming5290 Жыл бұрын
That's a really good question. Almost certain I used Screaming Skull.
@criticalhitwargaming5290 Жыл бұрын
Yeah it was definitely Screaming Skull. When I hold the pot up, it's right before I actually use it on the model so it was definitely that. Good luck!

I've got the new Gandalf sculpt and the Fellowship to do. They'll be in the next month or so I should think!

What undercoat did you use? Would a slightly off white like Wraithbone work do you think?
@criticalhitwargaming52902 жыл бұрын
I used Corax White for this one, but Wraithbone would work if that's all you've got - the colours will just look slightly different.
@Reagusmage2 жыл бұрын
@@criticalhitwargaming5290 How do you find Corax White these days? Had some bad experiences with it a few year ago spraying a bit dusty and not too smooth (in good humidity, after shaking can a shitload, under warm water, etc...) Not sure if gw have improved it a bit
@criticalhitwargaming52902 жыл бұрын
@@Reagusmage it's probably their most reliable spray after Chaos Black, to be honest. That said, you can always get unlucky and get a bad can, no matter what the weather. Generally you can't go far wrong with it though! If a new can ruins your model you can take the can back to GW and ask for your money back.

@@criticalhitwargaming5290 Thanks man, appreciate the help Keep up the good work with the crackin' videos! Challenge for you: All Thorin's company and/or Fellowship, speed painted
@criticalhitwargaming52902 жыл бұрын
@@Reagusmage I'll be doing the Fellowship soon! It'll be a semi-speed paint though, as you need to do them justice. 😀

How does this look on Nighthaunt?
@criticalhitwargaming52906 ай бұрын
Not bad at all! You just need to do a heavier drybrush towards the bottom of the model to make the cloth brighter.
