I absolutely agree that SAFP is the greatest female 100m sprinter of all time but Evelyn Ashford was undoubtedly an all time great and if comparisons need to be made I have no problem bringing the great Evelyn Ashford into the discussion. If there had being biannual world championships and Miss Ashford had being allowed to go to the Moscow games in her prime she would definately have had many more titles. While I recognise that SAFP is the GOAT and it's not accurate to put anyone else quite in her class I think your comments are a little disrespectful to a legendary athelete.

@websurfer10003 жыл бұрын
fantastic analysis! I first noticed her change this year at the Jamaican trials when she blew everyone away and was my favorite to gold but ETH put together an insane few months of rapid improvement & proper peaking at the games and Eugene. Too bad SAFP didnt adjust at a younger age. She has always had that explosive start but her speed endurance was her big weakness vs ETH or in comparison to FloJo. It is amazing seeing ETH and SAFP going for the relaxed run style that was pounded into FloJo by Bob K her coach. Flow running vs power. I think she can break 10.6 like ETH going 10.54 but I dont see much more than that. ETH has the best shot at the FloJo 100m WR simply because she has an easier area to improve - the start vs the second half. ETH gets a SAFP start, some legal tail wind, a good track, a perfect race and she has a shot. SAFP is already blasting out faster than anyone and going very fast so there is just less to improve on vs ETH. There are also body advantages that ETH/FloJo have over SAFP - their stride lengths at top speed. They eat up more ground at the end. SAFP and ETH are the modern eras 2 top female sprinters in the 100m. Id rate ETH 1 and SAFP 2 in terms of their chances for a 100m WR in 2022. As for the 200M....I think Mboma is the wild card with the best shot. She has the insane speed and 400m endurance like FloJo. She improves her form, start, and race pacing....she could WR in the 200m. Of course her hormone issue will trigger outrage with a WR but she was born that way. Cant help it.
@hotbiz1232 жыл бұрын
Why do we even mention Mboma? She should not be there, if World Athletic continue to allow Mboma to run, they may as well allow other athlete to take PED! It is no secret that Mboma Testosterone level is at the level of a male, which give her an advantage against other women with normal Testosterone Level; 98% of other female athlete is at the normal level. We need to see a level playing field. World athletic is playing a dangerous game, because, if Mboma run a world record, only an athlete like Mboma, could challenge that record! So we're making a mockery of the whole system!!!
