Sir,why don't we just get the 4 seconds which is from 0 to 4🤔

Good question We can't use the first 4 seconds because its speed is 20m/s Where as the last 4 seconds the speed is V which happens to be 16m/s after calculating. In short the 2 triangles 🔺️ have different heights but same base.
