Some people have made me aware, that I haven't given all the torque settings. So they are as follows. Steering head adjuster nut 40nm, slacken off re-torque to 15nm. Add washer, then locking nut 40nm. Top yoke nut 90nm.

Hi, Your ulterior motive - I am in the same predicament. How is that peg holding up with JB Weld? Great videos, btw :)
@notamotorbikemechanic3 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s still holding, wouldn’t try slamming it lock to lock though👍🏼

Ive also seen when installing the calipers to apply some tension to the brake lever to center the pads does that sound right ?

The owners manual doesn’t ask for it, I’ve done it both way, doesn’t appear to make any difference.

Hi, question on your windscreen. How good is it at blocking more wind over 100km/h?
@notamotorbikemechanic4 жыл бұрын
It make almost no difference, just think it looks nicer 😁

Hi, very helppful video. Not sure you stated the torque for the locking castle nut on theheadstock (not the 90Nm cap nut). Can't find info anywhere so would appreciateif you have it? Thanks 👍

Hi I think its 40nm, same as the adjuster nut. But you don't slacken off, but will double check and get back to you next week 👍
