I love your channel. It has changed how I care for shrimp. As to the Kallax ball, an other you tuber tested kallax balls in water and found it caused significant ammonia release.

Thank you for liking our channel and being a part of our journey! To be able to harness the power of the kallax for biofilm and utilize ammonia to build up beneficial bacteria is not for beginners hence i have put this video in intermediate. All living thing and products even mosses, plants releases ammonia when they grow and die back. Social media is a dangerous place as it sometime reflect incorrect information, like "Fake news" for entertainment. Those who are progressing well in the hobby and have been in it for a long time will know what is truly helping their shrimps. And for those who are truly into the hobby and trying to better themselves will at least find a pathway to grow and progress, and then into more confident hobbyist and eventually join competition. We are here to inspire hobbyist to show what is possible, and challenge each one of us to the best we can. We rather spend our energy focusing on the 50% of hobbyist who supports the cause vs spending our energy trying to "explain" to the other 50% who wouldn't be supporting regardless.

You first have to condition them before adding to the tank and remove them before they expire also. Using them wrong will cause excess ammonia release. Using them right won’t cause any problems

@@samivisionos Absolutely! We have numerous strong testimonials from breeders who follow the guidelines, and they consistently report no issues. The breeders who do encounter problems are typically not adhering to the instructions, or their tank setup has underlying issues from the start. There are hundreds of breeders-possibly up to 2000 tanks in total-who follow the proper methods and are successfully maintaining their shrimp without any issues. This just reinforces the effectiveness of the approach when done correctly.

Fantastic product, I use them for new tanks when setting up with low biofilm. as well as for more heavily stocked tanks.

You never said the Missing peices? How and when to use? I am intermediate shrimp keeper some advice on how to use would be great?
