Hi and thanks for the video. I have a 95 King. Current air shocks eye to eye is 13.5 inches resting, no one on it. I am 220 lbs and the wife about 130lbs. When we ride local of course we have no gear with us. When we tour we probably carry another 50 to 60lbs all in. 50% of the time I ride by myself. HD or standard? Do you guys ship to Canada?

What is the sag on this 13" progressive 412 shock? Stock 11-3/4 shock sags 1/4 inch. 11.5 Inch with the load of 2013 sportster XL883L. About 11" when I am sitting on it (160 LBs). I need more ground clearance as bike touches road bumps even when I am walking with the bike over the bump.

Looking at these shocks for my 13 RoadGlide Ultra. Together we about 475lbs. (Mostly me). Anyways would these shocks work well for us? Upgraded to the H-D coil springs and there are pretty ruff also, even set at 20 on the adjustment. Thanks for any info.

Hey Jason, Yes, we'd recommend the 412 with HD springs, part number 412-4077 B or C (black or chrome) in 13" stock height. www.speedaddicts.com/motorcycle/progressive-harley-shocks-13-0-black-412-4077b You could also move up to the 13.5 inch for a bit more travel, that would be 412-4078 B or C. Progressive's HD springs are progressively wound. This should provide a smooth ride than your stock shocks and springs.

Hi! I have a Sportster Iron in 2014 and I'm thinking about changing the rear shocks with a pair of PS 412 series. Considering that I often travel with my wife, I weigh 72 kg she 54 kg, what shocks would you recommend me, standard or Heavy Duty? I would like to maintain the same original height as the bike.

Hey--- i have a 2008 Honda Aero 750 -- looking at the progressive 412 11.5 shocks but they don't seem to come in "Heavy duty" for the bike -- im 280lbs looking for better shock then the stock ones-- would the red 412 be ok or do you recommend a different shock thanks!!

Hey Scotty, Thanks for watching our progressive suspension video. In instances where Progressive only makes one spring rate we generally tell customers to go for it. While they may not be as stiff as HD they will most certainly be significantly better than stock. Not only because they'll be stiffer, but also because the spring is progressively wound which leads to better performance over bumps and in corners. Further more the notes for this application tell me 11.5" is slightly longer than stock. More travel will work better for a heavier rider. What's up with progressive web site, when I select the recommended shock size 11.5 , a note appears saying that shock selected is smaller then stock, this I don't understand ! , how does a 11.5 shock be smaller then a 11.5 shock ? Can you answer this question ?

Looks like if you'd like to keep the stock 11.5 height and standard spring rating - 412-4063B - would be the best fitment!

@@SpeedAddictsTV Thanks for the help Speed Addicts, I found out from Progressive that stock size is 11.63in, so 11.5 is so close that drivability will not be an effective problem, I will probably go to your website for the up graded shocks and the front fork spring kit, Thanks for the help :) Now I need a PROMO CODE ! wink wink ! :)

@@billmeloche4918 Hey Bill - great question. The 12.5 Progressive Cruiser Shocks are very similar to the 412 series. They use the same high quality body, but a slightly different spring that allows for a lowered stance, but similar travel to stock length. They also do not have end caps on either end. Hey Douglas, Thanks for calling that out. We'd simply say this not a blank and white cut off. For example if you have a rider who's 245lbs, but always riders along and never had luggage they might want to stick with standard duty. You also might have a riders who's 200lbs, but has a passenger half the time. This rider might step up to the HD and have to deal with a harder ride when solo. Still unsure which spring rate to pick?
