this channel is honestly on the same level as that "engineering explained" channel but that one is millions of subscribers. this is 1000X much better than some board with drawings. your channel is underrated bro. someday I hope you get there

Yes I get the same feeling as if the car is driving itself, especially on a long straight road with not much traffic.

It's so awesome to see how all the stuff I learned in my physics class actually can be applied inside of a car! Learning about all these magnetic fields and rotational equations seemed kinda dumb in class 'cause I had clue what the point is, but this is super cool.

Good video. I'm attempting to retrofit cruise control to my car using a 2004 civic actuator. It has 6 pins though...Not sure what they all do.

After months of looking for this info I finally found your channel. The explanation is mesmerizing to me and causes me doubt as to if I can repair my cruise or not. i thought before the cruise control system is when you activate it. the computer box itself will regulate the spray of the injector and the throttle itself without cable but only servo motor would regulate the air intake. But now, it's just about servo motors that control the throttle cable itself.

One very important note. The electromagnet uses a diode so polarity is VERY important. Connect the wrong way and the diode will burn and short. Just did it....

you are awesome man....know your stuff pretty good..any idea why 2003 Mitsubishi outlander cruise control shows its on in dash but won't engage...vaccum lines to servo looks intact...any suggestions??

No you don't need to press the pedal. The motor in the cruise actuator will set it according the speed.
