Give an inch and they'll take a mile! Last time I checked the 2nd amendment was a right and not a privilege.

The problem is once we give them an inch we have to run 26 miles to get it back.

It's the same argument for privacy. Someone is watching you or your web activity. People will say "I'm not doing anything wrong, so why should I care". At some point they will come for you, and it will be far too late.

Why do you guys like bump stocks anyway? I would like to know.
@Speedogg1385 жыл бұрын
I have no real interest in them, but I always have a great interest in the government banning things it shouldn't.

@@Speedogg138 I'm Irish, so the gun laws are very different here. If you don't mind me asking, why do you think people in your country should have the right to assault rifles, subs, hand guns etc. Other than the fact that the second ammendment exists. I've never gotten great insight into it, so I would really like to know. Also I have nothing against your opinions or your right to bear arms, your right to your views is right with me.

@@IrishEagIe You're looking at it from the wrong angle. It's not a matte of why I think people should be able to have access to X Y or Z. People should have access to whatever they wish, unless a very good reason why something needs to be banned presents itself. As of yet, that hasn't happened.

@@Speedogg138 Why would you say bump stocks don't present a problem? From my point of view, their only pourpose is to weasle through gun laws to mow crowds of people. The Las Vegas shooting for example.
@Speedogg1385 жыл бұрын
@@IrishEagIe Are they a problem? They have been legal for decades and nobody even knew about them until the Vegas thing. I'd say that's a pretty rare problem. Your point of view may be that, but clearly the thousands of gun owners that own them and haven't mowed down crowds of people don't see that as their only purpose.
