This is my childhood, something i grew up with and played constantly. This part specifically is now eight years old. Seeing how these pieces of art have touched thousands worldwide is amazing, and watching your speedpaint brought back all those feelings. You got into warriors differently than some and yet, most of the fandom can relate to having seen this and having nostalgia for this project. You did it such justice, I’m transported back to being twelve again ❤

The year: 2018. I have just opened KZbin and I have finished the second book of the prophecies begin. I see the MAP “I will be there”, Graystripe and Silverstream. I watch the whole thing, but I replay one part in particular. The animation of this part is uniquely amazing. I watch the expressions, the way that the animator drew silverstream’s smile. It replays in my head for years, and now I watch this video. Truly this part influenced so many like myself. Well done Bakamiel and Louixie!

@@klltx2001 It wasn’t just any fling! Silverstream x Graystripe was much, much more than that. They’re the first forbidden couple written in the series, a memorable kitty version of Romeo and Juliet, and most of all, the nostalgic memory of thousands of old warrior cat fans! The tragedy from that relationship was so much more impactful and memorable than Millie x Graystripe, healthy or not. Tell me, if Romeo and Juliet wasn’t a tragedy, and they both lived to be a happily married and healthy couple like Millie and Graystripe, would it have been so memorable? No! It wouldn’t have! Millie may have been the cat truly suited for Graystripe, but Silverstream was his first love and mate. And no amount of love in Millistripe can ever change that.

I’m so sorry you have to deal with your art being stolen so much. Seeing your art process is very satisfying!! I’ve watched several warriors maps without knowing what they are, like “Everything Moves” and a whole bunch of others, and actually getting into warriors was like putting the puzzle pieces together as to what was happening on screen lol. You’ve come so far from your first warriors animation I saw, and you blow me away with how much you improve every video. Have a good one!

Ohh this is so pretty! I love the lighting and Silverstream's expression is captured so beautifully! I dont think I ever saw warriors animations as a kid, just that I started watching a lot of them in 2019 and for over a year just longed to animate. It was seeing some of yours and others work in CSP that made me realise that there were more accessible animation software that I could learn in, and that it was ok to join the fandom at a later age.

Reading your description really hit home for me. I too never really was interested in warrior cats, but was obsessed with artists and colleges and communities creating handmade stories and animations that theyd post on youtube, whether they were seeking popularity or not. I also actually found warrior cats through the same means, but the animation I saw was about Scourge as a kit. I saw this when i first began reading the series, and this scene especially gave me goosebumps. While I initially didn't care for the video, I couldn't help but go back to that scene over and over again, and this ended up being one of my favorite multi animator projects. Warriors inspired me to be an artist and a writer, and shockingly is a huge part of who I am now. I might not have ever been interested in creating paintings and writing stories had I not been inspired by the series. Thank you for making this and reminding me of that wonderful part of me. :)

The ‘I will be there’ map was the first encounter with warriors I ever had and lead to me reading the books which is one of my favourite series of books and the ONLY books I have read quickly and willingly because I loved them so much. Yes. This is am amazing map. And it was the first map I had ever seen. I didn't even get what it was. Bit then I was recommended a few more maps. Then I was introduced to animation memes as well (First one I ever saw being chime by felichio (not sure if that is spelled right)). I was also lead to alot of the people I watch today, and those animations and people inspired in art and animation. I didn't even know about digital art before. So that map is nostalgic to me for some reason lol. It's an amazing map though.
