i am just a patient (mast cell activation syndrome). I met a doctor on Tinder who acted like an expert on MCAS even though everything he said was wrong. He said i needed a hematologist because (according to him) mast cells are in blood. Glad it took you less than 40 seconds to remind me that he's wrong and that i'm not an idiot

Dear doctors: you giving out medical advice to complete randos on dating apps should cost you your license. you're not gods. Patients with 30 years experience are the experts, not the arrogant sociopaths who heard one lecture's worth of big pharma propaganda

Thank you SO much for this video. I'm dealing with diagnosed "Histamine Intolerance" which is causing me neurological symptoms instead of the usual allergy or gastric symptoms. I also have genetic mutations that cause low levels of the enzyme that mediates histamine from the brain. I've been told to take a second gen H1 antihistamine and an H2 antihistamine, and I'm trying to figure out if they're really going to help at all. I'm still not sure given what I've learned here, but just understanding how they work is extremely helpful.
