Does anyone know if you must use the rubber clamps that holds the metal rods in place? Or can you insert the metal rods directly into the frame mounts on your frame? That would save some space on my seat stays and on the fork as well and it would be a more neat installation.

Hello, that won't fit. There is no problem at the rear, but the distance between the tyre and the tube at the front seems to be so narrow that it is not possible to fit the Speedrocker.

I have 43mm tires and want to use this fender set. My only concern is that the side wall of the fender will touch the tire. Would that be a concern?

Hello Manuel, we recommend the Speedrocker for a maximum of 40-42mm depending on the tyres profile. In any case, if you install the mudguards a little higher they won't touch the tyres. But there might spread some mud because the mudguards are too small for the tyres width. Best regards.

You don't need the film to stop them moving. If mounted appropriately they stay where you installed them. You can tighten the Velcro straps thoroughly. The film will protect the painting of your frame in case of tiny vibrations and while mounting & removing. Best regards!

@@sks_germany My front fender mounts slide down the fork during bumpy ride which causes the fender to rub against tire and requiring me to readjust mid-ride. Is there a solution you recommend? Perhaps some type of sticky frame tape to hold mounts firmly in place?

hello thanks for the video. I have been using this fender set for about 1 year. But I have a problem. While cycling, the front fender rubs against the shoes in sudden turns. Normally, I have to keep the pedal at the top of the turns, I know this, but sometimes this is not possible. When the shoe rubs against the mudguard, the mudguard orbital adjustment is disturbed. The front fender starts to rub against the tire. this is very annoying. maybe you have a solution. :)

Hello Alper, actually there's no solution. It always happens when your wheelbase is to narrow (frame geometry). Probably the clearance between your shoe and the tyre is already not that big without mudguard. I know this really well - I always (without mudguard) tip the tyre on my roadbike when I ride small corners. I'm sorry - the only way would be a shorter mudguard but in this case you've wet feet.
