I can replay the robot fights again and again. I really love them. I just hope they make Dutchman a good fight in the remake, and add in the middle phase to robo sponge. TBH I wouldn't mind a boss fight for every level, but I'm sure speedrunners would mind. Also being able to replay level boss fights is a must.

Fun fact about the last time I battled Robot Spongebob: I actually made my way up to the ending trigger for the first phase completely by accident. I don’t remember exactly how I got up there, but I ended up in the trigger before I even knew it was there.

Really cool video. It’s also worth noting that the dev team for the KJ, RS, and RP SEEM to have placed the spatulas away from the boss, but usually still somewhere that you can reach it. KJ doesn’t give you a spatula for beating him, and do the last hit is what plays the cutscene to give you the jelly. But Robo Sandy’s spatula is beneath the arena, and Robo Patrick’s (if I had to take a guess) is probably within the machine that creates boxes in the middle. The arena seemingly goes too low for it to be beneath, like with robo sandy. But that’s just my guess. Maybe they didn’t do anything at all. But I mean....Robo Sandy and a Robo Patrick DO give you a spat for beating them, so it would make sense that the spatula spawns in or teleports from somewhere.

What I wonder is, why only phase 1 of the Spongebob fight has a debug trigger but not phase 2.

Phase two is more of an obstacle course than a boss fight, there aren't any health points to be depleted. There are a lot of fuses to break throughout, but only the last three fuses in the brain are required to end the phase.
