SpeedRun - Vintage Story - Attempt 3

Today I attempt my third speed run. At least it started off good.... Thanks for watching and liking.
Rules:
1. Use 1.15.7 or the latest version
2. Use Black Guard class
3. Not really a set end time
4. All default settings INCLUDING node search turned off
5. Tools are not considered progression but can be used or scraped into another tool which would count as progression.
6. 2 hour limit for this speedrun

I like the idea of a speedrun especially with the rng element of VS but am confused on the 'black guard' rule and having no clear end point. Speedrunning is more fun with competition. Make a bronze hammer might be a good goal. Otherwise great video, good narration and nice editing. If the rules are tweaked I might take a stab at it myself.

Yeah, I agree with you. My last video has better explanation of rules. The point of using that class is to limit how much you can speed through the days by sleeping because the hunger rate is 30% more. Also, it lowers the loot you find from vessels. That way you cant just rely on luck by going to building to building.

@@hgredemption6956 The alternative is to count the time in game. The challenge then would be working through the night with bad armour but you'd have an internal stopwatch rather than relying on the narrator. What would you consider a good end goal? Something made from bronze? A windmill might kill it because that means crops or a lot of trading. Something from iron might be too long too. Killing a tier 4 with a bronze spear might be a good end target. Edit: After a couple of attempts, real time is definitely the way to go. Rng is a massive factor especially in the first 2 days.
