SpeedRun - Vintage Story - Can You Do Better?

This was pretty neat, tbh. Wasn't expecting this but I had a great time. For suggested rules, since advancement of the ages is so important for us to be able to really do anything, I would say that having only the most important things to the age would be required to advance the timer. So, to get past the Clay Age into the Copper Age, you need at least one crucible, one pickaxe mold, one hammer mold, one anvil mold, and (ideally/to make it easier) one propick mold. So once you get a pickaxe, propick, hammer, and anvil (and this includes finding them if you are lucky enough), you enter into the Copper Age for the sake of the speedrun. For Bronze Age, you just need bronze tools and it doesn't matter which ones you get nor is it required to be consistent bronze. So you can have a tin bronze pick and a black bronze anvil, so long as all of your tools are bronze. I would also suggest that, at least for the early ages, if you happen to get enough bronze before copper, you can advance the timer two ticks and knock Copper and Bronze out. Since these are RNG based, I doubt that someone will find enough surface tin to transcend the age, however, I don't believe it would be impossible.

Thanks! Yeah 2 hours in any other game would be a really long speedrun.....but in Vintage Story, every second counts lol.

hah. found copper IMMEDIATELY. yeah, you'll be fiiiine. [saw somebody's playthrough where he found zero copper for ingame DAYS. That said... Ithink most speed runs are race to goalpost. rather than how far in x time. still...you were crazy lucky with not only all those copper deposits, with A LOT of nuggies. [in my 1.18 world most copper deposits on the surface would only give 1-3 "bits" to find. so getting the first pick and hammer was kiiinda a pain in the ass.
