It's actually not nearly as bad as it sounds, as failing the input doesn't mess you up. Basically you're building negative speed. If you do it frame perfect, you get -3 units of speed. If you're a frame late, you get -3 units and +3 units, so a net change of 0. If you're two frames late, you get -3 units and +6 units, so a net change of +3. If you mess up a few times it really won't hinder the glitch too much. It's a forgiving glitch, which is good because it's a really long one. The hard part of the glitch isn't necessarily the frame perfectness, but rather the amount of time it takes to pull off, and the repetitive stress injury your hands will start feeling as you do these frame perfect inputs for 5 minutes straight.

@@autsogiyoucef8676 Anju's Letter is more consistent and pauses the ingame timer the 'least, as well. It doesn't matter how long you take as you have to wait for 12AM for the toilet paper dude to appear (if I remember correctly) so you do have plenty of time. The Moon's Tear got at least 3 cutscenes that pauses the clock (Starting the tag game, ending the tag game and watching the moon tear fall) so I think the concern might be more that the trading deed takes more time when you add on the time you inevitably have to wait any ways.

Lots of these are great, but dank% has to remain my all-time favourite. The fact that both Ocarina of Time on N64 and Breath the Wild on Switch share this absurd category is just so funny to me... like how can both these games have a glitch that allows Link to put a torch in his mouth???

The Japanese version only allows you to save by resetting time. The Americam version allows you to save at owl statues too. The save files take up more space, so the cartridge can only hold two.

@@drunkbean8692 To my understanding the timeline names refer to all the time travel shenanigans at the end of Ocarina of Time. After Link defeats Ganondorf and he’s sealed away, Zelda sends him back in time, and this splits the timeline. In the past that he gets sent back to, he goes and tells the royal family about Ganondorf with his knowledge from the future, Ganondorf gets caught and sentenced to death, etc etc etc, Link leaves and Majora’s Mask happens while the Ganondorf stuff is the setup for Twilight Princess. It’s called the child timeline because it’s the timeline created by him being sent back to his childhood. Meanwhile, back with Zelda after she sends him back in time, Link’s soul has been removed from that timeline, so there’s no way for him to be reborn, so there’s no hero to stop Ganondorf when he returns and without a hero Hyrule is doomed and gets flooded, leading to the games in the Adult Timeline. So this one is called the Adult Timeline because it’s the timeline that continues on from when Link and Zelda were adults at the end of Ocarina of Time And lastly, the downfall timeline is essentially a “what if Link failed to defeat Ganon?” Timeline. The most common interpretation is that Link dies in this (which is probably the most in character, I don’t think Link would let anything stop him besides death), as long as he draws the Master Sword and inadvertently gives Ganondorf access to the Sacred Realm, all that matters is that Link doesn’t defeat Ganondorf. Technically, he could get distracted and spend the rest of his life fishing. Sorry if that was a lot of rambling 😅

I think you could do ToiletPaper% faster if you started the run from the beginning of the game -- if you do the first cycle as intended and get the Town Title Deed, Deku Link can give that to the toilet hand. But that's assuming that you need to do the run from a fresh save file.

chalk board ptsd just happened from an ad at the beginning of the video, uh those spoons if you can even call them that, i'm still shivering from how disgusting that is, its an ice cream ad by Haagen Dazs and there exist generic stainless steel spoons(nothing is stainless steel, i have scrubbed, soaked, cried in my sleep and nothing is getting that coffee stain out and that single itty bitty spot is not ok for an ocd person and i can't chuck it out cause like every good spoon it came in a set with other matching cutlery) which we can all agree are pretty amazing, they function as a spoon rather well and yet the spoon in that ad, i don't have a ruler to make a guesstimate on the exact size but comparing it to the random D battery that i have just to the left of me, its about that thick give or take a few millimeters and sure we all have a ladle but this wasn't a ladle and it didn't look like an ice cream scoop which we all should have as well, it was a garish, bead encrusted ice cream scoop, i had to see the video again cause i needed to actually figure out what it was and there's a reason that "spoons"(spoons, ladles, shovels, trowels, ice cream scoops) historically speaking, when it comes to efficiency don't have beads covering the entire thing, that would feel awful to hold and be a bitch to get shit out of the grooves, anyway so that's just me complaining randomly about the visual assault on my eyes just then. P.S: i had to google a few things here and there and also youtube search the ad which is why this whole comment is rather contradictory on if it was a spoon or not, it was a spoon, a specialized spoon made to scoop out icecream
