In today's video, we are planning out a Wind Waker Randomizer to see how fast a Max Settings Wind Waker Randomizer could be completed, if the player had basically perfect luck.
Now yes, in theory you could re-roll millions of times to have a seed with every item at for example Windfall, but I felt this was the most likely case of happening, if someone were to win "The Randomizer Lottery" in real life. ENJOY!

This would make a really interesting marathon race. Generate a seed in advance and give the runners (and chat) the spoiler log immediately after the timer starts so they can't route beforehand.

If you want to challenge their ability to route on the fly and are willing to give them enough time to fumble, springing the log on them at the last second is a good idea. If you want them to more consistently beat their estimate and want to minimize down-time for the viewers where they would otherwise just be standing still and staring at another monitor, you can add some prep time to taste.

Thats called a plandomizer and the answer is very fast. It basically comes down to how fast you can get 10-15 checks + how fast you can do hyrule. Probably an hour or 2

@@elnkr2603 What I meant is how fast can you beat a seed with items at awful locations (eg : Wallet leads to 1st bottle, bottle leads to 1 of the pearls on 1 long side quests, Hookshot placed deep inside Tower of the gods, then all this leading to Light Arrows on Molgera fight). Would love to see a video where he reads spoiler log and do a how fast can you beat a randomizer like that

I've done spoiler races of Hollow Knight and they're so much fun! You should think about giving something along those lines a shot. The routing is super interesting. It's pretty intense, but also great - unlike blind rando races, you can always point to particular mistakes and talk strategy at the end. Usually we did them with some time set aside purely for routing at the start.

Linkus, you can hit all 4 cannons on the watchtowers if you do them in clockwise or counterclockwise order. If you start at a 45 degree angle from the watchtower where you have 2 of the cannons in your view and start with the left one, you can target the ones at the back and the boomerang will be able to go all the way around the tower. The order would be front left, back left, back right, front right, or the reverse of that. I never use the bombs to beat the watchtowers because the boomerang is so much easier.

WW Randomiser app comes preinstalled with various models and skins to choose from, like, right as you generate a seed, but you can get them for a vanilla game as well - they can be found on Gamebanana, and even the HD patch by Hypathia comes with a few of these as a bonus. No idea whether you have to play on Dolphin only or is it available for Gamecube, but overall it shouldn't be hard to implement.

This would be such a fun race idea! Your and another take a random seed (or someone pre finds one) then you and the partner are shown the seed with a set amount of time to read and route, then race! (The seed is the same for both people)

Never thought about it before but it's actually kind of funny how they decided to implement the iron boots in this Zelda game since there's no underwater mechanics. Technically, it's not perfect rng because some items were still in annoying spots, so the item placement rng could be better, also you missed tingle on your first windfall visit, and needed arrows that one time. But yeah good rng (knowing where everything is beforehand) really speeds things up.
