I remember Speedy got his nickname because he was extremely fast at shooting arrows. Even faster than Green Arrow himself.

This is a great look at the "Flash Family" and it shows that Wally is a lot slower than the other Flashes. Even in season one, his top speeds was aboy300 mph- much slower than the others. There's lots of little clues this episode as to what happens later- obviously Bart in particular has more going on than he reveals.

5:13 Oh trust me you have no idea. That show especially took majority of the law and personality traits established when Wally West was the Flash and just gave them to Barry Allen. I mean the freaking Speed Force was established when Wally was Flash and after Barry had "died". The Flash show even took Linda Park who is Wally's wife in the comics and just made her a love interest for Barry. Thankfully, Wally has been the main flash in the comics for years now and will continue to do so for a long time.

I've always considered this episode "The Game Changer". I think every story is better with a prophecy of an apocalypse looming over it. Every little thing matters because any little thing could cause the end of the world.

Bart is Barry's grandson in the comics, we'll get to see Barry's offspring later. Also, the way he reacts to everything Barry implies that he never got to meet, as Barry was already dead.

A few things I want to mention: * Though you’re a bit down on Kid Flash being less powerful and all, YJ creator Greg Weismann has actually confirmed Wally West is his favourite of the Flash mantle carriers; his depiction in this show is grounded but ultimately positive towards him. If nothing else, “Coldhearted” showed that he’s ultimately a good-hearted person who wants to help people; also, he and Artemis having an enduring relationship even when others have troubles. * Original!Roy isn’t the original Red Arrow; Clone!Roy became Red Arrow early in Season 1. In the last episode, Dick and Wally even noted that Roy’s abduction and cloning happened before they’d ever met him; he’d only been Speedy for several months at that point… And this was more than 8 years ago, too.

A speedster force from the future calling himself IMPULSE came to the present and he's The Flash's grandson! He helped them with Neutron and now he's stuck there, but turns out that was only the beginning. He has a big mission there who's you'll fine out what soon enough!

In the honor of MARVEL and DC playing the copycat game, we have Neutron in this Young Justice episode - who is basically a carbon copy of Nitro in MARVEL. Nitro was a villain in the comics, and one of the factors that initiated the Civil War comic story by blowing himself up and killing over 600 innocents in the town of Stamford, forcing the Hero Registration Act into passing. Poor Neutron though was just a pawn being used for study by our mysterious figures in that abandoned factory building.

The reason Wally is slower than Barry and Bart is because since he's retired, he hasn't run as much as he used to and has lost a lot of his conditioning

Its important to know that Bart's "Impulse" character is fake. The personality he shows in the future, him being pragmatic and focused, is his real personality.

That's one thing about the show that I don't love is that they have it so Wally is the slowest of the Flashes, but that's the furthest from the truth in the com. Wally is by far the fastest Flash.

But in the comics Wally was WAY slower at this age. He didn't really open up to his powers before Crisis, when Barry gets killed.

@@The_Phantasm Yeah, but it's like Quicksilver in the Days of Futures Past movie- someone that OP would solve every problem and defeat every foe by themselves.
