Owning that car, i imagine a particular Eaze E song becomes engrained in the brain.

Thank you for making this video What air pressure switch do you use? im thinking of going with a 150/180, but wanted to know is there any benefit with using the 165/200? Also I plan to use SS7 bags which have internal bump stops, but is there a way to set my lowest height a little higher so that if in an emergency i lost all air pressure i wouldn't be scraping on the ground?

Hey I have an air ride system I am trying to figure out how to make it go faster I was watching KZbin I have a 93 Cadillac Fleetwood and these guys bags go fast to rise it up and quick to lower what would it I need for that to be able to do something like that

Plumbers tape (Teflon) is fine.. he probably didn't wrap it opposite side of the threads.
@TheHeadlessHorseman4 жыл бұрын
I am redoing mine for the third time now. I gave it two tries with permatex thread sealant and it always leaks, seams like it never dries. Used teflon tape the last time and its doesn't leak.

@curtisfisher48527 жыл бұрын

I've seen some cars lower or raise the front and rear at the same time, I'm trying to understand why your car doesn't?
@justinharrison51596 жыл бұрын
bbkg1979 he covered that part brother. The middle switch operates the all up all down function, in this case he chose to drop it independently
@JP-xg8cd3 жыл бұрын
It’s called pancake the middle button raises the entire car or drops it all at once

Can you speed it up at all ?
@craftsmanvenezuela20288 жыл бұрын
hello, thanks for sharing your knowledge, I have a question to do, I hope not laugh, I've never installed an air suspension, the question must install shocks?, or you just have to install air bags? Thank you
@speedwaymotors8 жыл бұрын
Yes, you will still want to run shocks on all 4 corners. Not everyone out there with air ride runs shocks, but it will definitely improve your ride and reduce bounce as you go down the road.

You might want to use this company for a better reference since they have the most complete kits and in different stages die impalas…. Bc fab they are in rancho Cordova ca.. but like I said impalas!! That’s them two of the workers there daily drive their impalas and are on air.. so the product and reputation. We’ll just ask and the photos will speak VOLUME!!

With the wilwood brakes, are you using a brake vacuum canister?
@speedwaymotors6 жыл бұрын
In the video there is a fairly large black vacuum tank with the gauge attached on the top and visible in various segments of the video.

Where did you put the bump stop's at
@speedwaymotors6 жыл бұрын
Pat had not used any rear bump stops. He used aftermarket stops on the stock front location.

I sampled a 1973 Lincoln Continental on pure AccuAir VU-4 {on all four corners} sitting on 22-inch rims, and the ride quality was pathetically horrific beyond belief. It shocked me in a way that I could not believe, because, I originally assumed that AccuAir suspension was supposed to make the ride quality feel outrageously comfortable and smooth. Then I sampled a 1978 Lincoln Continental Town Car on the stock suspension sitting on the stock 15-inch wheels, and it literally felt like a genuine boat sailing on the ocean; it was smoother than anything I've ever imagined possible. How can this be explained???
@evanthag1056 жыл бұрын
accuair has nothing to do with ride quality, the nice thing about accuair is that it keeps it level and you can have pre set height settings(assuming its the e-level). Still at the end of the day its just a fancy valve system, to simplify it, its job is to transfer air from your tank to the air bags. Ride quality will be based on the bags you use, where you mount the bag, what shocks you use and where they mount, and etc. You could take the accuair off that continental and install the cheap $17 manual paddle valves and it will not be any different ride quality.

Your missing rear antennas off 1961 impala. Old lady curb feelers, and TV Rabbit ear antennas. You should done little chain steering wheel.
