I love this man. IDK what it is but as a drummer, I truly appreciate every single little nuance he does behind the decks. His selections, his transitions, the improvisational elements, etc. Speedy J is Jazz incarnate but for Techno.

Ginger was one of the first techno albums I bought.its still amazing.timless.i saw him live in 1997.public energy tour in Newcastle.he was fantastic.I had a Very nice conversation with him afterwards.what a very down to earth guy.he is easily in my all time top 5 Techno producer/musicians.. Quality.

Remember seeing all those years ago rocking the 2 yamahas su700s during his Loudboxer tour in Edinburgh. Studio24 was off the hook that night. One of my best techno experiences . Then again at "Pure" Top floor of the venue...OOOOFFFTTTT. Thanks for this set. Looks so good in the surroundings up high in the trees.

What a machine beast, as usual ! Thanks 909 to create these kind of events. Speedy J used to play more than 1 hour which obviously has more sense for his sets ; too fast in 1 hour to create his own risings and falls dynamics. But anyway, this festival is such a great underground scene ! See you next year !
