Thank you Matthias. How nice of you to even reset your car to factory settings to prove what you probably already expected. I know from my own experience how much work it is to get al settings and configs the way they were and find out the problem you tried to fix is still there. The infotainment software and Apps from Skoda are not half as good as what you can get on your phone. Even if they would work. I avoid using the Infotainment software as much as possible and use different Apps on my mobile phone via Android Auto. Navigation, parking, charge planning, voice recognition, etc. work much better on a mobile phone.

I‘m outing myself, I‘m the Thomas told Matthias about the Factory Reset. The Factory Reset made things more worse in my car as now the Synchronisation (User Menu) doesn’t work anymore. This means that there are no Traffic data anymore. I already had that directly after 3.0 update. I contacted the email support and they fixed it „somehow“ on the backend. Now I contacted the E-Mail support again. Hopefully they can at least repair the Synchronisation. The P2P App further not work as well as the Powerpass App after Factory Reset. So, thanks @Matthias for documenting that the Reset doesn’t work at all. It may avoid other users following the Steps without any result.

Hi Matthias, in my case with ME3.0 car produced at the end of 2021 with ME2.4 all the apps work, traffication, calendar and pay to park. Thank you for these always interesting videos.

I have Versjon 3.2 on my Enyaq Cupe and the instalation went with no issues and working perfectly.

Škoda should focus on fixing the existing issues not come up with useless apps which most of us won't use anyway because of slow display, hanging up apps and non intuitive UI. I tried the powerpass map when it appeared in car - I really don't see a point of using two different maps / navi softwares and switch between them and the powerpass one was crashing multiple times. Why they can't include the same info in the inbuilt Navi? Although I like my enyaq I really am getting tired with their overpromising and not being able to deliver. It's no more a new model - it's already more than 3 years in market. My car is 1.5 years old. 55k driven. I have been in workshop at least 10! (Ten!) Times for warranty repairs. And now having electric driven error and service apointment for battery module replacement. It's quite a lot of issues for a 60k car..

Same experience here @TheAShkins. Battery module replaced, and 4 or 5 additional days at the dealer for all kinds of software issues.

All of the bad things I keep seeing and reading about the Enyaq is making me wonder if I should cancel my order. I have a disability and can’t be without a car or break down. I ordered a month ago and they say it won’t come until July. I’m in the UK. Is it a good buy?

If you use it for driving and getting from A to B it is a really reliable car. Only the software has its flaws but you do not need such apps in everyday life. Also you will get the much improved version with SW 4 I guess if you are still waiting for your order

Those 3 apps never worked in my 3.0 Yak and no way I'll factory reset the damn thing... since i already had that connectivity bug when registrating the primary user.

I watched a lot of your videos and I`m not sure where to ask this question so - hows the phone app for the Enyaq these days? I really want to buy a car with properly working phone app with good functions.

I do not use the phone app as I do most of the stuff with Apple CarPlay. But as far as I know my neighbor who is driving the same ENYAQ as I do is quite happy with the phone app. He's a salesman and uses the in car phone app regularly

Have sw 3.2 in my 80. Thought the pay to park app sounded a good idea so downloaded it and the set up seemed simple enough between car and smartphone. Ha! Then realised the facility is not yet available in UK. DARN IT…. Does anyone know when the UK will be included?

Is this related to your firmware version? I'm running the last version 3.6 out of the factory and all apps work fine for me... I can really understand how frustrating this will be... I'm quite annoyed as well with the fact that I got my Enya two weeks prior to the distribution of the new version 4 😭

There are rumors that Škoda is recalling all cars that aren’t updating over the air and update them to 3.5 on the dealer. All others will be updated via ota.

These rumors/promises are told by dealers and Skoda for years now. They provide you with a dream that will not come true. Let’s not expect anything from Skoda and be happily surprised if we do get a meaningful update. At least the Apps are definitely of no use!
