Very nice, I guess the beer is high quality. How much does this BRAUMEISTER 50 L cost. Or how much money is needed for all necdessary equipment to brew. Thanks a lot.
@homebeerbrewery6 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for the comment. The Speidel Braumeister 50L costs about €2050 It's not easy to say how much the costs tthere are for the complete setup. You can do it so different ways. You need a grain mill ( or you just buy milled grains ) and some other stuff like a spoon and fermeter, hose and maybe a secondary fermenter. Homebrewing can be done sooooo many ways, no one is the best one. Just find your own way to it. Like the way of storing the beer before serving it: do you want it to keg it or bottle it? Cheers anyway and all the best!

Hey Glenn, I just got a braumeister and I have been struggling with really bad efficiency. Typically I mash like on my Herms - 63 C for 40 mins. But is see you do 70 minutes which is really long. Is this something I should also be doing when using a braumeister? Thanks
@homebeerbrewery Жыл бұрын
With a BM the grain crush is very important, I use the mill setting 1,2mm and never had any stuck mash or fountains. 40 mins looks to me like a bit short, can you give it a try with 60 mins? Did you do a iodine test to see if the conversation was completed? Pushing the grain bill to the max is also a reason in my cases of a bad efficiency. Sorry to hear you have a bad experience with the BM. Please let me know if you found the problem. Cheers

Thomas Wenger I personally don't have the issue of clogging the pump with this amount of hops when added during the boil.
@homebeerbrewery6 жыл бұрын
Hoi! Glenn
@Svetlana426 жыл бұрын
@homebeerbrewery6 жыл бұрын
Succes!
@Svetlana426 жыл бұрын
Cheers!.

@catscats506 жыл бұрын
homebeerbrewery. I always thought that because we have very low minerals in our water in Dore Village in Yorkshire that it wasn't a problem but our Sulphate level is much higher than our Chloride level making beer with lots of late addition hops very bitter (technically astringent).
