Hi Sean thanks for producing this video after you read my comment about call outs on the nx transmitter. It was very informative and easy to follow,I'll probably only use readouts about the temp of my esc and battery low voltage for now. But thank you again Sean and give your mom my best and I hope she is doing well. Looking forward to your next videos your friend Marty from Canada 🇨🇦 🛩 🛩

Once your used to the callouts, it's a must have. Wish spektrum would put the screen above the sticks on the next model. Looking at the screen during flight without call out , having the strap in the way gets old.

Thanks Sean. Great video as always. It would be great to make a video to show how to assign reading the status report to a switch. I tried the timed status reports but it is a bit annoying and distracting. So I guess the best way is to be assigned to a switch to read the status when required.

It's fine balance between getting enough info and too many call outs which get very annoying. I always like a count down call out every minute I'm flying so I can't run my lipo down too far. At certain times I'd like altitude call outs but not the entire flight but altitude call outs can not be turned off or on via a switch like the vario can. I did contact andy kunz of spektrum but he said altitude call outs controlled by a switch require major programming knowledge.

yes im sure that is possible . but like he said that could take some time to figure out that mix

Very good informative video! For example, the telemetry “Max 60A” is just for alarm or status or is the smart ECS limit the amps to the motor?

Cool video Sean! Not sure I want all that talking to me but some would be very useful. Gotta dig into it more! Safe flying all!

yes i agree with you. during a coupkle of first flights with a different size battery or something that would be useful.

Brilliant videos today mate👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻I could watch this stuff all day I have to say your blue stand seems a bit flimsy to me not sure it would last. I’m preferring your home made one. Might be my next task.

Hi, Is it possible to get the NX6 to call out the percentage of throttle? ie throttle 20%, throttle %50 etc. etc
@ChrisDaish-xw8xy7 ай бұрын
thats using the NX6 with a Smart ESC and a Smart battery
@ms8884 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, since the manuals don't have much clear information.. I wanted to ask if it is possible, and possibly how to do it, if it is possible to implement the Italian language on the new NX8+. Greetings from Italy.

Is it possible to set up the callout on a switch? I don't want it to keep calling out every minute, but only when i flick a switch.

Hi Sean, I have a G2 Spektrum 6s smart battery. I get some battery info via the ESC. But zilch info under “smart battery”. Is this because it’s a G2 with no balance pigtail.?
@chandy4ever10 ай бұрын
I think you may need a smart esc as well

Excellent video. I will be trying to do this. 👍🏻🙂 SUPERB! This is exactly the “how to” information I have been wanting to see. Now I understand their terminology better. Thank you very much, Sean. Hope your mom is doing okay, and the weather will allow you to fly sooner than later! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

That so very helpful. I’m just getting into the hobby and your explanations are very informative. The manual is sparse and the setting possibilities endless. You helped me get started. I’m going to get my transmitter and plane configured to help me fly more safely.
