Great video! Features are clearly presented with due emphasis. Very nicely done.

I took the AR 6:30 out of the Horizon Hobby F-15 64 mm. I can't program the receiver it is stuck do I need to set it up on a flight control I cannot access the parameters I see them but can't change them

Thanks for the video series! I'm a newbie and I think my gyro corrections are backwards meaning when I lift the left wing, the left aileron goes down. Is there a way to fix that on the transmitter? I'm using the AR630. The servos were pre-installed and the receiver orientation is correct. Thanks in advance.

I just assembled the new commander. I'm confused about the as3x. You mentioned first flight with gyro off but everywhere I researched says it's always on. Safe select or as3x only. I understand it's always on. Am I reading into this wrong?

I set up everything as per your video but when I put the B switch in 2 and tested the gyro nothing happened. What do I do now?

If one of the surface is moving the wrong direction how do you make it right?
@SpektrumRCvideos4 жыл бұрын
The orientation is either set incorrectly OR you simply just need to reverse the surface on your servo setup menu and relearn servo settings in forward programming. Always confirm controls are moving correct direction before proceeding with AS3X setup

Can I use my DX6 (gen 3) and just skip the gain channel step? It doesn’t have a knob, so I thought I would skip the step and use forward programming to adjust gains, but I can’t get AS3X to react at all. SAFE works, and so does heading hold, but not AS3X. I did advance to throttle to activate. What am I missing?
@SpektrumRCvideos2 жыл бұрын
You can skip the gain channel part. you will just need to go into the menus and adjust gain. AS3X can be hard to tell if it is active given the nature that it is essentially in "rate" mode meaning that it only corrects while the sensors detect movement, where as SAFE is a heading hold type mode that will hold the deflections. If your safe mode is correcting in the correct directions then so is your AS3X mode.

My elevator is moving in the wrong direction how can I correct that?
@markbuck23994 жыл бұрын
Did you ever find an answer? Same problem with Elevator and Aileron. AS3X gains appear backwards.

Same question. Elevator correcting in the wrong direction.

Hi! I'm using a AR637TA in a plane that I built. Everything works fine except that I can not make both ailerons react in safe mode. It's always one that is on channel 2. The other one is one on Aux1. Do you know if there are any settings that I can change to make it work properly? Thanks
@SpektrumRCvideos3 жыл бұрын
If you are using a receiver that is preset for a BNF or RTF model, then that is normal. If you want to set it up for dual aileron, you will need to flash the firmware and reprogram from scratch.
@dorin8r3 жыл бұрын
@@SpektrumRCvideos Yes, already did that. The thing is that I couldn't find how to make both ailerons work on a Y cable. Same with a AR8020T. Both aileron servos go on the same direction. I'm using a NX8. Thanks
@SpektrumRCvideos3 жыл бұрын
@@dorin8r when using a Y it is sending the same signal to 2 different servos and you can not program them individually when using these devices. Your best option is plugging each servo into a different port and using a dual aileron wing type. That way you can adjust each servo for their individual needs.
@dorin8r3 жыл бұрын
@@SpektrumRCvideos But it works with my Conscendo Evolution with AR637TA and Y cable . Is it maybe because one of the aileron servos is set up to go in the opposite direction? I see now with lots of Flite Test models that they recommend using Y cable with ordinary 9g servos. If I can achieve this, I can set Safe Mode for my FT planes. Or maybe the orientation of the servo is backwards on the other wing? Thanks
@SpektrumRCvideos3 жыл бұрын
@@dorin8r The geometry of the servo (in your case the orientation) has a direct correlation to the direction it moves yes. The reason I recommend separate ports is that you will have even better control of all servo settings, such as direction (reversing) Travel endpoints and subtrim. If you have the open channels, why not use them?

What are your gains set at? Are you using Flight Modes? One way to help us help you is to message us on Facebook so we can share images and videos :) Thanks!

@@SpektrumRCvideos Surely if you have the gains set at what the manuals recommend, you should see some response?, even if it it not right for the model in the air. I am getting quite hacked off.
