Oh my gosh! I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to hear that someone has quail 😂 we had quail, we tried SO HARD. They were our fourth homestead animal addition and oh my gosh I’ve never had such terrible luck! I did all the things, read all the things, watched all the things; it just was NOT happening lol! We are going to try again in a few years. They are such beautiful birds! We did manage to eat a few, and a few of their eggs. Tasty, and much easier and faster to process then chickens!

I got to see those little quails at a church get together when they had a petting zoo animals for the kids….those little quails are adorable and like you say the girls are the dominant ones …great cards

I REALLY like that Anniversary card. The little quails are so cute. Our next door neighbor used to raise quail and pickle the eggs! Loved getting to go over and watch them hatch some too. 🐣

That is funny that you said you are not a bird person. You are a bird person! Wow, your family raises quail?! I think that is pretty cool. You definitely know all about quail. That was fun hearing about, and that was also my favorite card. Is the thing on the top if their head the "comb?" I wasn't going to subscribe to any of the monthly kits but now you are making me want the die set with the quail.

Nope …. Turtle doves do not have that head thing on them . Neither does a partridge , only the quail has that dangly thing
