Me too..Odd I did the same as a teen in the 1970s. A bit of nostalgia for me. Lovely

Yup, me too! Grew up on this series thanks to my grandparents. Never missed it. Local country radio station played it every single night back in the eighties right after the eleven o’clock news for years. Fondly remember it softly coming from my grandparents open bedroom door when I’d stay over as a child. I don’t think I’ve ever felt as warm and safe as I did back in those days.

I've commented on many of these episodes as they fill my time whenever i listen with total fulfillment. Does that sound cheesy and sad? If it does please be honest ok!! I get so much enjoyment from these by-gone aired stories that give me so much enjoyment and have done for about 5 yrs!!

So thankful to find these ... something I enjoy any time of day or night ... as where tv and movies lack these series provide .. activating the imagination. TV has gotten to depend visually causing us to have to quickly read messages, emails and text messages .. too much labor and for the vision impared make it impossible to follow and enjoy.

My only beef with these awesome compilations is that you cut out when E. G. Marshall says “The CBS Radio Mystery Theatre PRESENTS…” at the beginning. Bad call. Please put that back, as it’s an integral part of the nostalgic listening experience. I do love your addition of the fire crackle at the beginning; if you restore E. G. Marshall’s opening announcement, then we’re gold.
