I'm surprised people aren't also noticing the EEV hit too. Prophecy can play a little without getting manhandled either. I'm happy about that even trade on the banlist.

Yeah and since they made galaxy serpent, you can now synchro really fast with them and even Effect veiler and Gorz cant stop some of it's OTK's.

just use the deck lists that topped with TG Fairies then then and modify it with the new cards available for the format. Either go traphole and handtrap heavy or a limited trap lineup and triple call of haunted.

Azn eyes I love you. You completely created this deck (which is amazing ) by using the prophecy cards you normally wouldn't run. Keep up the creativity I'm trying to keep it alive in this game cuz if there is no more fun decks in the game it's almost not worth playing

I don't know if you read these comments, but if you do and have some time to spare, can you build a t.g. fairies deck for the new banlist? Used to play with it back in march 2012 and it was such a beast deck, topping locals all the time and ending 4th on regis. Used to run them with creature swap as well (which I love), so any good ideas? thanks :D

I'm already maining decrees in my deck, calls are not bad, but I think stopping the torrential/mirror force is better. If you have any build/list for me to check or any suggestion I would love to hear it! Thanks for the advice

I agree that more creativity will be required this format but when I said creative I meant actually being inventive and creating ur own deck with new plays and lots of options that's actually competitive

I was JUST checking out my spellbook deck, making edits to it for the new banlist, when I saw 2 Reapers in my binder... Reaper turbo is definitely the way to go with spellbooks now, it's not NEARLY as good as it used to be, but it's still a really fun deck that can otk out of nowhere.

u have to choose, dark or light side of the prophecy, but for dark side, the power is not really good as light

repear has been a deck aslong as priestess has been a deck, reaper of prophecy. reaper is extremely agro and priestess is control. both were good before judgement and are still good noe

I agree, that seems to be the theme with the new banlist. More thought needs to be used in these decks now.

I agree with your sentiment. There is nothing totally creative about burn, exodia locks or what not. Sure you use tech that otherwise can't interact easily with other decks but its aim is still to try not interact with the spells/traps of your opponents and be very solitaire like.

Because they're too good. if I remember right way back when reaper first came out you could use his eff as many times as you want as long as he was summoned. But I might be thinking of a diff card so, sorry if I'm wrong.

Ah this is the OTHER varient of spellbooks i guess they wanted you to build. It looks interesting but going into repear by using strengths/temperence is a bit iffy given how much of a bitch the cost to use the effect is afterwards.

With EEV and raioh at 1x, if Spellbooks gets popular, people actually going to have to resort to DNA Surgery, Anti-Spell Fragrance, Deck Lockdown, etc. instead of random Big Eye or Crazy Box summon turn 1 for the obvious EEV set.
