Very good video, I almost agree with everything except camera and shotgun. Camera unironically beats most enemies in the cosmic ocean and since you're not carrying anything else, it's hella useful. Shotgun is really fun and useful in the first 2 levels clearing every enemy in your way with the sprayed bullets, but I agree with you on having it in neo babylon for example, just scary to shoot it when every bullet can come right back at you.

Big fan of power packs in early game because in the jungle you can break those grass blocks, and if you dare to take it into volcana (which isn't that particularly bad), you can use big bombs to skip the udjat eye/drill. I'd still place them about where you put them, but in the situations where it's useful it really shines. Same for telepacks. I think of them like this: if I have one on, several new paths open up to me by being able to teleport through the floor. And that's really good in a game where the best way to stay alive is to not put yourself in dangerous positions in the first place. It's wicked finnicky so it's not something I go for every time, but it can really get you out of a pinch or offer you a way to avoid a precarious situation. Oh also on the topic of idols, always grab the ice caves one if you see it. The boulder is hardly a threat, and by that point it's worth a LOT.

camera at least belongs in "good not great" very useful stun (particularly against the ghosts), and can instakill several enemies

as somebody who is still too bad to make it to cosmic ocean i disagree with a lot of these placements but i know eventually i will completely agree with you (my skill level is last week i made it to sunken city for the first time)

I disagree about 3 things I think alien compass should be in top just for cosmic ocean 60% of my deaths are forgetting where the exit is. Secondly I would put paste in top also and finally I think the elixir is far too low, probably I would put it in almost godlike just because there is no downside to having it

i agree with him that getting elixir right before sacrificing yourself is weird (losing it on the altar mightve been changed since then but ive always skipped duat so dont quote me on that), but if youre doing a qilin skip to CO it seems useful to protect you from poison/curse

the downside of elixer is not getting the clone gun to clone the sun challenge bag

@@voidgamer7122 i dont think thats much of a downside because most of the time you are trying to save bombs and because its 94 levels there is no way to not get bombs through that many levels
