I agree the formula has been the same for ages, but I feel like it was more interesting and the stakes were much higher because the cast all knew each other and were genuinely friends before the show.

@@haute03 yeah that's definitely fair. And honestly I don't agree with my original comment as much anymore lol. I think there is quite a big difference in how the newer seasons feel and the older ones probably were better. But I still enjoy the new ones.

Louise and Spencer were together before Jamie (and the show). Then Jamie went for her (didn't get very far) because Spencer 'stole' her back before Jamie could actually progress to officially dating/sleeping with her. Louise gets a lot of hate but most of the boys were doing the exact same thing in getting with everyone as well.
