When Jake came out in pregame I interviews last week, he kept saying “I’m confident” “I’ll be confident” confident confident confident. Arms crossed though and body language said differently. Then he came out and looked overwhelmed. Like he was projecting… Spencer seems more authentic.

It felt like he was trying to get himself in the right mindset. The problem with that is that trying to get into it shows you aren't already in the right mindset. Conflicting beliefs (like "I may never see the field again" and "what have I got to lose?") can prevent you from performing in "the zone". The key is to get yourself to genuinely believe the right things to perform in "the zone" and let the confidence (which is different from arrogance) naturally flow.

Idk how to tag Nick and Mike. But I had this conversation with my buddy and some packers fans at Lambeau (yes I went, sad game. Incredible environment. 10/10. So cool. So fun). I was talking about how the saints aren't really ever good in these December and January cold games. And our roster has nobody from cold weather. Lotta SEC and southern blokes. But that was top of dome AND we don't always have a cold weather game. Thought a fun topic might be discussing roster guys and where they played HS, collegiate, and now pro. Just cuz ... I mean we do have 8 home dome games a year but it could be an interesting topic for where we play on the road most often and who's on the team that's familiar with that kinda environment

@ oh for sure! but carr doesn’t have the luxury of doubt. He makes a ton more money than 18 and isn’t a 24 year old rookie. He’s a 33 year old man lol!
