I'm wearing a 7548/6309 hybrid right now. It's my go to watch! I wear it all the time and luckily I have a 7548 expert near me for when it decided to take a dump. Love this movement!

I just got a 7548 - very excited to start working on it. Hoping it doesn't need a new coil, the only thing missing was one battery strap screw

Hi Spencer, very enjoyable video and very satisfying to see the final result. Can you recommend someone who can perform a similar service for a Seiko 7548 in or near Ireland? Thanks

Hey Spencer hopefully you see this! I have a question regarding the adhesive in the crown. I'm rebuilding my own 7548 and was curious what is recommended when reassembling the crown regarding that adhesive. It is necessary? What would you use? Thanks!

Lucky who can service watches in your workshop. Sir I have question about quartz watches. If a second hand doesn’t match the indexes is it possible to fix it during the overhaul?

Hi Spencer, extremely helpful - bought my 7548-7000 in the early 80s (40 years ago) and now want to get it fully restored to pass on to my son for his 21st birthday. Watch has stopped and needs a full assessment and restoration. I live in Melbourne Australia - can you (or your followers) advise on next steps? Happy to send the watch overseas if that's the best advice. Thanks in advance, Bill G.

Hello Spencer. I was wondering how do you know if the QT-99 is accurate? Do you calibrate it against another source, or you just trust that it is accurate by itself?

Great video!! A question here... Is it possible to change out the crown seal without taking the stem apart and the crown off? Thanks.

Another great restoration. Could you let us know what to look for when buying vintage watches? Thanks.

White lume. Dirty case. Scratched crystal. Ideally the seller is not a watch person, not a reseller.
Why dont you show the people re-assembly of the crown , stem, washer..

I need to be accepting work first, but I'm totally booked up. I have no idea when I'll take jobs again, because there's so much to do here and not enough time to do it in. But thank you for asking, and I apologize for not having a better answer for you.

Hi, When you're regulating the watch and say that it's 'One hundredths', Wouldn't there need to be three digits after the decimal point?, I would say it was tenths of a second rather than hundredths 👍
@SpencerKleinVintageWatch4 жыл бұрын
The whole number in front of the decimal is one second. First number after the decimal is tenths. Second number is hundredths. Ten hundredths to make one tenth, ten tenths to make one second.

@@SpencerKleinVintageWatch , Of course, You're right, I was having a senior moment and somehow got mixed up between hundredths and thousandths (As in measuring workpieces for lathework!)
