I am 66 and still fantasize about what life would be like if we had not moved away from Japan and what would my children’s life be like. Imagine if they made a life sized Howl’s Moving Castle model, or a cat bus rollercoaster? Or even a rollercoaster that made you feel like you were flying on Kiki’s broom! How amazing that would be. It would be awesome if they had a strip of restaurants for guests similar to the one in Spirited Away when Chihiro’s parents were eating. Or if they built the bath house where guest can stay and experience what it would be like to be a guest in the bathhouse. Phenomenal. I can’t wait to visit!

They actually made one of these they made the life sized howls moving castle that moves and has an interior

It’s less of an amusement park and more like a themed Ghibli village, filled with life sized doll houses and displays from a museum. I love the peaceful and relaxing ambience though. It’s a magical environment that is so Ghibli. Of note, I loved the cat bus, the selfie photo displays, and Ghibli’s hallmark delicious food and pastries. I’d love to visit it someday. They really didn't actually. Without any of the music from any of the Studio Ghibli film composers, the extremely limited food options (that don't look anywhere NEAR as good as the cartoon food), there's NOTHING TO DO at this "theme park." There's plenty to BUY, I'll give them that, but this is simply the most boring theme park EVER. There's public PLAYGROUNDS that have way more fun things to do for family to do compared to Ghibli Park. This is an Instagram photo-ops park, that's really it. I couldn't believe how may children were saying out loud "It's boring", "I want to go home" and "I'm tired" and "can we leave?"

It's a very nice place, ever step is radiant, reflective or perfect and unique. This is a happy place, even for the half blind. Japan is lucky to have such nice mountains energy 🙏

短編の上映を見ると10月に行かれたのですね。 私もその月に行ったのですが、かなり混んでいました。空いていたのはうらやましい。 リニモはモノレールではなく、リニアモーターカーですよ。 予定されているリニア新幹線と同じ原理(磁気浮上システム)のやつです。 日本初のリニアモーターカーになります。普通の電車とは不思議な感覚を味わえるかと思います。 普段は沿線上の大学などの通学がメインになります。 まだその路線には「小牧長久手の戦いの古戦場址」が見れる「長久手古戦場」という駅もあります。

I went to Japan and have also visited Ghibli Park! My advise to those who are planning to go, if you are a big fan of Ghibli and their merchandises, just buy it when you see them! There is no way you would find the same merch somewhere else. I went to a few Donguri in Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo, and even the merch store at Ghibli Park, some stuff are just meant to be at the selected store. Just buy them otherwise you are going to regret it! 🤗🤗 I also kept telling myself that it's okay to spend all the money, it's not like we go to Japan everyday 😂
