I have the same plant!! And personally I think they are not high maintenance, I have it for the last 4 years and she was thriving always, but then I moved to a little apartment and she hated it :( I gave it to my mum, its a long recovery. But all she needs is sunlight and water every now and then (if you miss watering if for a week its fine)

For your plant: you can definitely revive it! Does it have wet soil? If so, i would repot it with dry soil and put it in a sunny position. And only water if soil is dry. It would also help to have it in a pot that drains (has a hole in the bottom with a tray or in a plastic pot in a ceramic pot) if it’s not already..

But answering your question: I have spent Christmas in hospital, then came out, went back two days ago (for two days) and then came out and I have ot go back at the end of February, so I am really hoping Q1 goes by really fast and I will not have to be in hospital anymore. Plus I have been jobless for a year now, so let's just say that I can try not putting pressure on myself, but LIFE is pressuring me enough at this point HAHA
