​@@hannahricketts8816I had very serious burns to my hand 20 years ago after putting my hand on large patch of almost molten metal during a welding accident. It took a couple of months but I eventually regained full use of it and haven't been left with any scaring. Make sure you work hard at all the physio exercises they give you, as I think the continual stretching of the skin as it heals is what helped me regain full movement of it. I didn’t shower for a minute. My version of showering is laying in bed and sipping myself down with wipes and the bathroom I was allowed to get up for that but that was it. Thankfully now I can shower:)
