I remember in one of your videos you were having trouble with birds eating your tomatoes. One tip I just read about was to hang a red xmas ornament on the plant just as it begins to flower. The ornament will mimic the fruit and the birds will peck at it for a drink. After a few visits without quenching their thirst, they will likely avoid your tomatoes to find another water source. I don't know if anyone has already mentioned this, but I thought I'd share. Maybe try this next season. Enjoying your videos!! Looking forward to your Halloween ones!! :)

Hey Becky! The house looks so nice. Your collections look so good the way they’ve been arranged. I had to change my diet over the past 2 years too. When my hubby was still alive, he loved very rich meals with sauces but now with just my daughter and myself, we eat a lot simpler and healthier. Mostly chicken, seafood and vegetables. I must say that I do feel better and my bloodwork results have improved too. ❤

Hi Becky. I discovered your channel recently and am enjoying it very much. You cracked me up when you said you can't keep eating like a teenage boy. I feel your pain. Lol As we get older the things we eat catch up with us. I used to eat a lot of pretzels because I thought that was a healthy snack compared to potato chips and whatever. I learned that refined carbs is one of the worst things to eat in abundance. I switched to whole wheat pasta, brown rice, whole grain cereals, etc. Also I learned that the oils they sneak into a lot of so-called health foods are bad. The worst is palm oil. I only cook with olive oil. I'm feeling better, and I'm even losing weight without depriving myself. I hope some of these things I've learned can be helpful for you. 😊 Linda

I am definitely taking it day by day. I grew up on junk food and I really miss it. I especially miss candy. I would rather have a sweet than a full meal. I am trying really hard but it's a day to day battle with what I choose to feed myself that's for sure.

Yes, we have our home and shed sprayed monthly so the worst I have ever seen in my shed is poor little dead lady bugs. They get caught up in the carnage. Although I will say that I'm not scared of spiders like a lot of people are so that usually doesn't worry me too much. My biggest fear is tornados! 😮

Thanks Karen, We actually had a line of cedar trees that were there when we bought the house. The hurricanes took all of them. I'm not sure if the root system was not good with them or what but David has mentioned several times that he wants to put more back there.

I use. Styrofoam plates when packing up my plates for storage. Works great. Put Styrofoam one in-between the plates

I have often wondered about that. They used to be stored in my attic and then I moved them out to my shed. I would be so sad if they did in fact dry rot. I just don't have anywhere else to store them and I'm almost positive that all of them are out of style now for other kids to wear.

Thank God he has been able to work the whole time. He is general manager at his company so he was able to do desk work this whole time. He has just really missed being in his garage. Unfortunantly all the cool months have passed so he got better just in time to melt out there but he is still happy to be at it again.
