The toilet is awesome. Most of us in Canada do not have Washlet or bidets. So this is awesome on a ferry. I got one when recovering from hip surgery. I would never go back to a regular one again. So much more sanitary. Is this the norm in Japan. If so that is a very good health measure and I applaud the forward thinking of your government and corporations. I love your videos.i have end stage pulmonary fibrosis so am an arm chair traveller. Have a wonderful and full life filled with as many curry types as possible. Hugs from Ladysmith BC Canada

I've been reading, and apparently food allergies and restrictions are not always catered to in Japan. The room looked amazing, as did the food, but as someone with a seafood allergy, I couldn't have eaten a lot of what you get served. I do wonder if you could book a suite without the meal service, because I would like to be able to eat the food that I pay for... Anyway, thanks a lot for taking us with you today!

I am in awe of the cleanliness and order in Japanese society. I could live there very happily! I’m from a military family so was brought up to be respectful of others and their possessions. It looks to me that the people of Japan have a similar mindset. 😊 Edit… I’d really struggle with the food though. I’m vegetarian and have to avoid certain foods for medical reasons. One of them being rice 😢 I love it but it doesn’t love me 😞

End the mystery! What is Miso soup? Usually it appears to be a light broth with some green onions floating on top. Other times there are ingredients that sink to the bottom. What qualifies a soup as miso? 🇺🇲 greetings from Chicago, Illinois USA
@annettefournier9655
@annettefournier9655 5 ай бұрын
Miso is soybean paste made with Koji and rice, that is what is floating in the bottom.the broth is umami rich taste made of seaweed and dried fish but it tastes nothing like either. I hate both those things and love miss soup. The plain type had green onions and tofu cubes. Red miso is a bit richer in flavor.
