There is one clear option for me: P1. Get the Lanzante HDK conversion and you are good to go. That way you are customizing the car, yet it can still retain real investment value, as those HDK conversions are rare and very sought after. Might not retain the same value as a stock, pristine P1, but it would still be a solid investment that you could turn around later on for profit. Plus the HDK conversion looks absolutely stunning in person. Lanzante does an impeccable job. That is what I would do if I was buying a hypercar to transform right now. That said, if you were buying a hypercar for sheer nest-egg value, I would snag the P1 and not touch it. I know I know, sacrilegious to a driving channel. But there is also a fine line between investing in a hypercar and getting one because you have F U money to spend. Just as Uncle Ray Ray stated, that car will be a $10 million dollar gold bar one day. If it is taken care of, that is. But since DDE is about building and driving, I vote for HDK conversion. Just my two cents.

If you have oversized tires that aren’t stock size basically, usually your speedometer will read slower then what your actually doing, at least that’s with the couple trucks I have. Great video and would love to see a p1 modded out DDE style!!!

I hadn't thought about oversize tires, that would truly make a difference in speedometer reading. But I was thinking that with such high value in the trailer, it would be extremely risky and irresponsible to drive that fast. I get that you do that with the exotics, but what if somebody brake checked you in that rig, or you otherwise had to stop fast and couldn't, your insurance might deny or cancel you. But then it would certainly make good video. My other thought was why would two different CHP officers allow themselves to be on video. I don't think thats normal. It didn't look like you were trying to hide the camera very well and they often shine their flashlights around inside, likely would have seen it. Are you really that good at hiding it or did they give their approval?

The more rotation of the tire the longer it takes to make a mile, and if you didn’t “tune” the transmission to understand the new tire set up, the truck would understand the normal size tire for rotation. It’s weird but being they only went slightly bigger of a tire it shouldn’t be to far off, but enough to get pulled over if you don’t know i guess 😂

@@treybird893 There are "modding" options where the hybrid powertrain can be completely removed. Tavarish mentioned it in his most recent rebuild video. The only problem with that is that you kill the car's value (if it can't be rebuilt later on). So going that route would require a really high mileage or salvaged titled P1.

Those diesel pumps that “weren’t hooked up” are for semis to fuel both sides at once. You swipe your card on the machine across from it and you just take the handle from the one you payed from and sit it on the ground and then you can use the other side 🤙🏼

Tips to identify which side of fuel cap is..look at the meter cluster panel where the fuel indicator is..if its on the right side then fuel cap will definitely be on the right side and so forth.

There's a small arrow on most vehicles pointing to the side to fill up, but I can tell you for sure the side the indicator itself being on the left or right makes no difference

It was explained on the stories channel. Damon’s finances and DDE’s business finances are two separate things. DDE was financing the Murci. The hyper car is coming out of Damon’s pocket. He had some money set aside for property investment but with the market being 💩 he’s decided to put his own money back into something for the channel.

The time with Uncle Ray Ray was classic!! So good! Also fyi the blank pump was there and it was easy to pull in because that was the fuel lane for a semi to fill up as they have two tanks.

The stuff inside the fuel door was spilled def fluid. DEF fluid is made of uria and when it dries it crystallizes like you saw. Also when you guys go through the mountains you guys should have an engine brake you can use. The button will be below the radio on the driver side as a part of the AUX switch panel.
