I love watching mike and Tim build cars! My dad used to race stock cars and he built his own cars, so its really cool for me to be able to learn about it at the same age that he was doing it 20 years ago. But, I have to point out that the bend on the cage at 26:40 was actually .6 degrees off from what he showed us on the other one, measured at 67 deg and 67.6 deg. I’m sure with the wiggle room you could stretch it when you weld it to the right spot. Keep up the good work!

What I really enjoy about Mike is that, no only can he do what he's doing with the upmost skill and professionalism, but the fact that he can explain exactly what he's doing and simplify it so much that anyone who doesn't know anything about working on cars can follow along and understand what is being done, is absolutely incredible

THERES ALLOT TO BE SAID HERE, But first let’s start by giving Mike a much deserved pat on the back for creating amazing content. The truth of this comment really falls on Marks shoulders and possibly more, but being in charge of storyline and editing that’s on you Mark. Before you assume I’m just being negative or a hater, DDE is THE ONLY channel I watch religiously everyday. So love the channel. What I don’t love is the fact that again we are showing Mike building a roll cage in the F12 AGAIN. Matter of fact he was further along last week and somehow started over from scratch again today. That’s 4 videos in a row building a cage for this car. Typically this channel isn’t for Pete & Repeat, that’s what the stories channel has become. The stories channel has become, “what are we going to eat for lunch” and when they’re not eating lunch, they’re regurgitating what just happened yesterday on the main channel. So guys, or Mark……. Gotta tighten up and get back to the creative content you used to film and edit. I think many would agree that we would rather watch you guys goof off in the shop or mess with Alex or Mike Hall than watch the same $hit we em watched last week from you guys. In this case, 2 days ago. Tighten up, do your job and stop replaying the same stuff again & again. And for stories channel, let it be “behind the scenes” as it was intended and not a food show or replay of the main channel. Damon I hate to say it, but it’s a noticeable difference between when you created the content, and now leaving it in the hands of “department head”. Hope we get back to the way things were.

Hey Mike, just a tip I recently discovered using PVC pipe for mock up is freaking awesome!! You can heat it with a torch for custom bends and also use the bender after heating it up for exact measurements. Try it Mike I would not recommend it if I didn’t love ❤️ it

When using hand benders you always measure from the inside of the bend. Making your measurement from the edge of the former will always make your measurements seem off because the bend doesn’t actually start from the edge in the former… It’s easier to show how to do than it is to explain.
