@@drae Then I think your buttons may not have been working or something. I don't think there is a limitation to doing them. I've seen a few people play and I'm planning on getting the game soon and they always spam takedowns in the beginning because they give you health. Takedowns are the b and y's btw. Just to make sure we aren't talking about different things.

@@drae it’s cuz you were playing on controller. I just bought the game and I can do takedowns on keyboard but it doesn’t work on my controller for some reason. I hope they fix that before the full release cuz the game feels better with controller.

Drae, one core thing you always have to keep in mind with fighting games like these is to never let yourself get surrounded. Just move out of the circle and don't dodge unnecessarily. But also don't just keep mashing the attack buttons, hoping they won't hit back, cuz trust me, it never works. Got punished wayyy too many times with that mindset. Take it slow, you ain't speedrunning the game

As a martial artist of 7 years, this was really cool to watch! 👍 Best way to take out opponents is usually: attack 3 times, back out, defend until there's an opening, and repeat. If there's multiple opponents, always move to keep the one you're fighting between yourself and the other(s).
