@indigo_evenings15612 жыл бұрын
Here in the Phils, our ferries are usually 40+ years old ferries from Japan. There'd be slight refurbishments here and there, like attaching seats/benches or bunk beds, removing rooms and so on. A lot of the signage on doors would be in Japanese. I've even gone on one where the toilet was a squat toilet. There'd also be big square or rectangular shaped rust spots randomly on the hallway floors, and I used to wonder what could've stood there for a long time that was that big. Probably the vending machines. A lot of these ferries smell really musty, especially the ones with old carpets, or smelled like cigarette smoke. It's different from company to company, a few care more than the others. Thanks to your channel, I could see what our ferries used to look like before. This one though, is the closest to the ones we have here. The other videos look too fancy 😆

I took this ferry several times. They have arcade machines and also first class rooms. The food on here sucks but it's pretty cheap. They turn the lights off at around 11 and turn back on at 5. You can sleep in or leave when the ferry arrives... Not that you can sleep unless you get drunk... It's pretty loud. You can also take your car of bicycle.

I think at this point I was unsurprised about the ship being so clean, even though it is older. I was, however, surprised that you are able to disembark until 7am; the 5am arrival had me concerned, because getting up that early to get off the ship would be hard. I was also amused that you wanted to get coffee so late, and ended up with a curry instead, those two tastes are so different!

You always make the beds just fine, my friend. It is not easy when the mattress is in a tight sort of capsule style bunk. I stayed at the Generator Hostel in London a few times, and they put a sort of comforter with sheets built in on the bed so that it is easy for them to make the beds for the guests.
