Spending an Early Morning at Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park

Kicking off National Parks Week with a classic National Park spot.
Sprague Lake is one of the most popular locations in Rocky Mountain National Park. The morning view of the peaks of the Continental Divide with sunrise light shining on them is one of my favorite, it can be an a prime location to see wildlife, and it is accessible for almost all visitors to the park with a flat 1/2 mile trail that circles around it.
Can I capture an interesting photo here on an early morning visit to this well known spot? Will I be able to function well on almost no sleep?
