Great video! One thing to mention is the "daily deal" for blue signal data. It's 3,200 crystals for 110 blues, 30 green, 10 greys, and a bunch of inconsequential throw ins (5 cbb, 5 bronzium, etc.). Only issue is you're at the mercy of it appearing in the shop, but it's a significantly better conversion of crystals to signal data than the static signal data packs in weekly shipments.

I bought the one that popped up for me the other day. 90 blue sig data, 25 of each kyro salvage and assorted stuff for 3200 crystals. Then immediately on refresh the 110 blues popped up…

Agree! If it's basically all signal data, it's good. You can get 20%+ better than shipments.

I totally agree with refreshing Conquest energy. I’ve just started to do it this year and can already see the difference investing in datacrons has made to my account. I’ve been fortunate enough to finish conquest in a week and then spend the second farming datachron mats. Btw thank you for your conquest guides. I was able to get the gold crate all three times using your guide for the queen amadala conquests. Awesome content!!!!!

One thing you didn’t address (I don’t think) is hard node refreshing. The most prudent use of crystals is just the 25c node refresh. The way the math works out, farming a marquee takes ~6 months with 5 sims a day. 25c refreshes, if you can afford them, cuts that in half to 3 months. 50c refreshes then “only” cut the farm down to 2 months.

Great vid. Reaffirms most of what I spend my crystals on. I'd add it's worth doing the extra (six total) refreshes during bonus & double drop events which is what's currently draining my stockpile (with the Gungan event).

I know not everyone wants to engage with DC's, but if they are in a guild that even tries at TW or they do GAC, they are just hurting themselves if they don't focus on the mats needed for getting the ones that will add the most value to their roster.

I think I finally know where the bronzium wiring divide comes from. I always have thousands of them. No problem with ccb either. Fleet Energy refreshes. I do at least 2 per day, usually 3. Always on a g12 piece like mk12 lens that has 3 or 4 other gear pieces (not mk12 stun gun which only has 1 other gear piece). Bronzium and ccb aplenty!

It's probably worth hoarding your energy beforehand, but during the additive drops, it's usually not super worth the extra crystals, depending on what the drops actually are.

Xaerath, your advice has been stellar for years, so I am going to assume something got lost in translation. But it felt like you were discouraging mod farming. While I agree that mods have lost a huge portion of their importance with the advent of datacrons, especially within the context of pvp, mods remain the most important thing for pve. Anyone who doesn't already know about where to spend crystals is also very likely someone who doesn't have top-tier mods. This is advice I'd expect from APgains or similarly bad k3 players, not from one of the great minds of this game. Anyways, keep up the good work.

A majority of my extra crystal spending goes towards kyros. I buy Kyros with every currency I can and still never have enough

Don't please. That's so unproductive. You need to spend each currency efficiently to grow fast and don't get to bottlenecks. If you spend everything on kyros you won't have other important resources such as relics or g12 to g13 gear. Also try not to gear up every single new toon, just gear up what you need to improve. Build base classic squads such as NS, CLS, Gas501, sep droids, and squads that require few or no kyros at all.

Depends on where you’re at. I’m in Kyber 2 and depending on matchmaking I can win an entire round or lose every game. I’m at 9.2m If I didn’t focus on datacrons I’d get destroyed easily every round of GAC.

Daily income difference from k2 to a1 is nearly 3k crystals a month. You also make more in rounds and seasons I believe.
