Another thought- take any leftover jarred or canned food, put it in a ziplock freezer bag, label to include date and freeze. Next cooking need, plop it in a bowl with a paper towel topping and defrost to use. Or throw it in the soup or sauce on the stove to defrost while cooking.

Next time you want to buy clearence shoes like that, look at the shoes they are currently wearing, the size is usually on them. Then buy one size bigger, because they will be used next year. Or 2 sizes bigger if the ones they are wearing now are already tight

There are certain days they restock, you need to shop then so their not out of everything like usual when you shop! Store brands are just as good as name brands and usually half the price! Equate brand vitamins and meds are the same as name brand also. The doctor in the family recommends them!

When I do heavy shopping I have 1 cart with cold food items, 2 cart non cold food items, 3rd card non food items. Easier to put into bags and put away when I get home.

Here's a trick to help you remember which tape to get, the letter "I" stands for invisible which "I'snt" the tape you want, the letter "T" stands for transparent, so it's the one you "T"ake. "I" for isn't (invisible) and "T" for take (transparent the one you want.)

I really like cozy socks when it’s really cold for bed too! I tuck my pj pants into the socks so my pj pants don’t ride up and I’m even cozier!! I made ramen lasagna the other night was good! You take 6 ramen blocks put them in a 13x9 pan sprinkle half the seasoning packets over the ramen. Pour a jar of pasta sauce over them then 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream and 1 cup of ricotta spread evenly. Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over top and 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese. Bake 45 min at 350!

Wow. I’m surprised your Walmart is still using plastic bags. In Canada all plastic bags have been banned as they have classified them as single use which is crazy since everyone reuses plastic bags in their home either to line waste baskets bring lunch, carry things in etc. They are multi use. Now we have to go out to dollar store and deliberately buy plastic bags to line waste baskets which is really single use now. So are we farther ahead?

Fun fact: 2 poptarts contain 35 grams of sugar, 10 grams more than a twix candy bar. Recommended sugar intake is 26-35 grams total in a day. For those consuming 2 in the morning it is like having a king size candy bar for breakfast. There are candy bars healthier than a poptart. The Mills buying them always makes me want to eat one (nostalgic as my parents let us eat them as kids) but I just can't in good conscience do it as an adult nurse.

Would a bottled spaghetti sauce that lived 2 years longer than its expiration date be okay to eat (looks fine but too scared to open)? In a jar or in a bottle, yes, it is fine. That stuff can last about 50 years, although it will lose some taste, I’m sure. The “golden rule” for canned products used to be regarded as 7 years, so I think you are safe enough. Now if you open the bottle or jar and the lid flies off from built up pressure, then throw it out and wash your hands and everything else very carefully with soap. I am going to bet you this doesn’t happen.
