@@samjohnson3540 Maybe because David has learned over the years that the Colombian woman, although physically beautiful in many cases, is nothing more than a money hungry self serving egostistical creature? I am not saying all are that way but at times yes I think most are calculadoras y interesadas! Verdad David? Maybe David has learned that going it alone is perhaps the best route in life? Cheers!

Way back when I first started going to Colombia, a gringo isolated in a finca was a target. You could scream all you want as no one was coming. As for roads, I don't understand why roads are cut at the angle they are given the unstable terrain. Even the road from the airport into Medellin (before the highway was built) was often closed due to mudslides.

Agnes this is the problem that there are not jobs. You can enjoy Colombia only if you earn dollars or Euro working from home by hired by a foreign company. If you are retired earning dollars you can live well. But you have to learn how to survive in order to avoid scams, robbery, red tape in all Goverment offices and big corporations. You must live in a good neighborhood estrato 5 or 6 otherwise the neighbor will not let you slept because the will play loud music all day long since a lot of people are jobless and the only entertetainment es drinking a playing loud music until 4 am or even 5am. Just go there and stay one month living like a Colombian local not like a tourist. I am from Colombia and could not live there.
@joepaul44062 жыл бұрын
Agni Best to visit first and explore the Country on your Tourist visa. New government taking over this month and wait to see what the visa rules will be. Not a lot of opportunity for an immigrant to arrive and get a job. It is best if you work online or can be self employed and earn in dollars or euros and then spend the COP.
@agnitapasvin82672 жыл бұрын
@@joepaul4406 @Ofir Rifo Thanks for the responses guys. Yeah this is kind of what I expected, if I can find some online wfh arrangement with a foreign company for USD it would probably be best. Colombia is such a beautiful country though. Maybe I'll visit one day as a tourist...
