It’s really sad that we’ve actually had a balanced meta for the first time in a long time but it got ruined by Buzz Lightyear. I can’t play any other brawler than Buzz pretty much in ladder, so i haven’t had as much motivation to play. I don’t think temporary brawlers especially super broken ones like this are the way to go, I’m grateful that it’s easier to earn better trophy boxes but is it worth something like this happening? Not to me.

Sam surprisingly works really well against buzz lightyear. If you time your super correctly, you can beat both saber and wing up close. Laser is a bit more tricky, but as long as you can close the distance, it’s pretty easy to get rid of them as well.

I think it's time surge gets a super charge rate nerf It taking 3 shots was based on the fact that surge couldn't move with his super and it used to be almost exclusively used to level up. Now you can play agro with after the buff allowing him to move while supering

It's not just that buzz is at least good against any given brawler. It's that you are playing with a huge disadvantage if you are not using maxed out brawlers. If you have low level brawlers that you want to play, you are limited to bot lobbies until February. Imagine being a new player who can only either play buzz or play bots for two months. The collab is awesome and buzz is really fun to play, but the game feels more like buzzstars than brawlstars rn.

I don't know how much you use your Battlelog, but in a way it's already kind of like that... it's just not as bad because there aren't so many lower trophy Brawlers that are level 11 like Buzz Lightyear. The reality is this game is intentionally designed to be close to Impossible if not impossible to consistently win unless you have your characters leveled up with gadgets, star power, gears, and hypercharges. The difference from Level 1 to level 11 is literally double the damage and double the health, plus the star powers and gadgets and gears and hypercharge hahaha

I can typically get a brawler to 300 trophies with some ease if they are level 5, which isn't a lot of resources. Typically I'm playing either opponents who are at max level 9 or who have a low total trophy count. Sure a single level 11 brawler played by someone good will appear every now and then, but most matches are similar ranges. The fact that it's common to face two buzz lightyears at even 100 trophies is insane. This is for every game that isn't bots. And I have a relatively high trophy count at 28000. Not a ton and I'm sure many people have more than me, but I have many level 9+ that I can play that at worst 20% weaker than level 11. A new player has none of that and will be forced to play buzz.

@@briandiomede7354 it's not just assuming if they are a level 11, let's assume that both of you are the same character and you are both equal skill. If they are even one level above you, they win the 1v1 with slightly higher damage, slightly higher health, and the same reload speed, ammo, mechanics, etc. They can even be slightly worse than you and still win more often than they should. And yeah it might not be so bad getting up to like 300 trophies, but that's also because you lose so much less trophies for losing and not because the people are just not as good. If you go and look in your Battlelog like I said you we'll see how many people have such an incredible amount more experience than you on the other team while your team has people who literally just started the game hahaha. The game just throws you in there with anyone who has a similar trophy count on the individual brawler no matter what power level they are and no matter what total trophy count they have. It's insane. There are also a lot more Bots how does trophy level so it gives you a lot more easy wins

Laser Buzz is the most fun mode to play. Its just Saber Buzz is better in most condition. No matter how good u r with Laser Buzz, eventually enemy Saber Buzz will have a super and he will combo u to into space pulp and he is ready for another super.
