I hear ya on the tap-to-pay... I'm pretty sure there's an intermittent scanner scam going on at my favorite gas station. I can't quite pinpoint it, and I always check the machine before using my card - but my favorite pump doesn't have working TTP. Great video, man! Spending money on maintenance may suck, but the rewards are worth it :D

The tap to pay is more secure because they can’t use a skimmer. But I’m sure they will figure a way around that also

I heard that the tap to pay makes a one time code & the chip/ barcode on the back is a code for the life of the card. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you Sir! Yeah I always dread this service but so happy now. I’ve had a feeling the valves were out for a while but it wasn’t near the time for the service so I just would put it off. I set this appointment for months out, expecting to be around 17k or more miles. But very happy I went ahead & got it done early.

Meanwhile, where I live, I put on my thermal underwear to go for a "summer" ride. Been stupid cold for summer lately, early 50ies Fahrenheit. But it is warming up now, should get better in the next few days. :)

This past winter (minus the salt) has made me realize I rather ride in slightly colder weather than hotter weather. This weekend is mid 90s feels of 100+ & sunny. They did change all the fluids & I feel like it helped the fans not really have to turn on during this ride in the heat. Where do you plan on getting a ride out to?
