Everyone thinks that Lois Lane issue is insensitive or controversial, but if you read the story, it actually has a nice message about racial and gender equality (particularly for the time).

You're so right about early DC silver age. I found a Green Lantern 15, which I believe is the third Sinestro, on a vendor's wall at a flea market for ~$20. Low grade? Yes, but presentable and not imminently falling apart.

I agree that early DC Silver Age comics are criminally undervalued. They're also so much scarcer than their Marvel counterparts!

the Louis lane is a great pickup. I love getting stained books because its so enjoyable for me to make them look now. Try and get it fixed and it looks pretty solid.

Hmm --I've had a low grade copy of Strange Stories from Another World #5 for many years and it appears that it was under valued for a long time! -- Have always loved the Saunders painted cover on it! Classic PCH!! Good to see it being appreciated!

Local cons are the best. I've got a monthly one in my neighborhood that I always walk away with something and can often times do trades as well.

Good deals Ryan. I have significantly decreased my comicbook spending recently. The books I'm tracking have not dropped in price in fact some have increased a little. I was able to buy keys and grails November and December but not much for January and February.

I've owned 3 copies of LL 106, my recent copy is 9.0. The title "I Am Curious Black" references a Swedish porn movie from the sixties called "I Am Curious Yellow". What were they thinking?

I was running late so I had to park across the road. Did pick up another high grade Bryne X-men (136) and a spanking copy of Marvel Two In One 54. I'm working on a 9.6 or higher run of the Bryne X-Men run.
