Just because you claim it’s “evolutionary” doesn’t mean it’s good. You could argue women have the same imperative as well, to mate with the best and strongest men and produce as many babies as well. Again, just because it’s biological or “evolutionary” as you claim, doesn’t make it good. Most men want to actually raise their children; not abandon them. @FrankskinOrweed-ep4ijАй бұрын
That’s not true, his case is unique as I’ve heard MANY donors don’t have interest in establishing bonds with any offspring, they do it for cash. In fact there used to be anonymous donations where kids could NEVER find out who made them! I was going to say this was SICK as I find the donor industry very unethical and selfish of parents, but at least he had the heart to give his name and willing to establish relationships with his biological offspring, altho idk to what extent. I’m sure some donor kids don’t get the opportunity to even know who made them, and plenty just get rejected as they learn their conception happened as means to some easy quick cash. That’s abandonment imo!
@jd3jefferson556Ай бұрын
They were abandoned
@WhiteHazeeАй бұрын
@Madenthewest no that's not the case, learn that your existence is linked to someone who sold their sperm for money and in the vast majority they don't want any relationship with them. You can see the attachment trauma in how quickly they bond with strangers. This industry should not allow a man to donate more than once and use more than one if it is for the same couple.

How neat to see this man get so excited getting to see his “children”. With most never getting to know their biological dad these siblings got to see the man who not only helped give them life but to also meet their “new” siblings

Donating his sperm does not make him a “ Dad”. He donated it to make some cash on the side. The real question is why he would want to meet them all. Sick

I agree with you, it’s nice to see. And nothing about this story is really sad either it’s not like ever abandoned them (even if he chose to not have contact I don’t think that would be abandonment). It’s probably nice for them to meet their half siblings too.

My late husband was adopted. He loved his adoptive parents, but wanted to know who he looked like (he was Shawnee) A few years before he passed. He met some aunts, uncle's, cousins, his bio mom didn't come, nor his half brother. And sadly he passed never finding his bio father. This make me smile and sad at the same time.

@24warcheif25 күн бұрын
Why does it matter when he had adoptive parents who loved him and raised him? Obviously, his biological mother and father didn't care about him, so why did he want to know them. This is why adoption needs to be secret and undisclosed, same with sperm and egg donors because what's the point of raising these kids if the child is just going to seek out the biological parents?
