Japanese martial arts like Judo, Karate especialyl Shotokan, Aikido (there is even serbian subschool called Real Aikido) etc are really popular in Serbia and former Yugoslavia countries. That is why many of the army and police presonel can do them, many kids train in them.

It is not Spetsnaz. It was PTJ/ATJ from Serbia. That unit does not exist anymore.

@@PRAVINRAAJRAAJ yes but not everything , cause karate is based on rigid movements and linear movements where as kung fu is based on fluid movements. So there is a lot of distinction between karate and kung fu , although certain styles of karate were derived from chinese martial arts but for that sake we cannot glorify one person for everything and nullify the founding fathers of karate do

looks like kani basami. It's a Judo technique that is banned in tournaments; it used to be taught in traditional karate as well

yes its called kani basami, it is forbidden in tournaments because of high rate of injury, basically the person that is taken down can hurt their knees or brake a leg bone and it happenes really easy. Those people that do Judo or Karate in military used to do that in civilian life long before joining.
