You're the first guys I've seen to find peat and smoke notes in Glenfiddich 12 and Glenlivet 12.

If you ain't first, you're last. Gotta be honest, it's been a loooooooong time since I've seen this video. I can't honestly say I really remember tasting these, but Glenfiddich having any peaty notes seems wrong. But I definitely get some faintly peaty/smoky notes on Glenlivet on occasion. Could just be some barrel char, but still get it on occasion.

@@AlucardNoir interesting to note, I just had some Glenfiddich 18 yesterday, and there was little bit of that peat smokiness on the palate. Haven’t had the 12 in a while tho. Merry Christmas to you too!
