@user-lh3sw4tq2n I did the Essential Glow Moisturizer SPF (which I didn't like at all. I gave it to my husband and he didn't like it either). I didn't even remember it was called Defense 😂 It makes sense we all like different things though as we all have different skin types and therefore needs.

Mineral sunscreen (zinc and titanium dioxide) is much better than chemical sunscreen. You shouldn’t compare products if they have different (mineral vs chemical) types of sunscreen. Mineral is better by far.

I can see your point but that's a subject of hot debate and 'better' is dependent on your skin tone and type. There's benefits and reasons to choose both based on a person's skin: "Both mineral and chemical sunscreens are effective at sun protection when used correctly. Mineral sunscreens are better for people with sensitive or acne prone skin." GoodRX "Chemical sunscreens tend to be more water- and sweat-resistant. As well as lighter and are often preferred by oily skin types." Dermstore "Chemical UV filters are known for their...superior skin penetration and absorbability make application faster and more seamless. For those who are worried about white cast, particularly those with darker skin tones, chemical filters are typically more invisible than mineral ones" Pavise. "Because of their GRASE status, pregnant and breastfeeding people may prefer to use mineral UV filters when choosing sun protection out of an abundance of caution" Pavise. "Mineral sunscreen may be your safest bet, though it’s a hotly debated topic in the research community." USA Today. So the takeaway is to use the one that's right for you and that will make you wear broad spectrum sunscreen.
